 Exam Facts 

 
  1. FRCPath without any other UK qualifications ( MRCP, Plab,..etc) will give you full GMC registration. 
     

  2. If you are a non UK trainee, to apply for FRCPath Haematology exam, you do not need to have MRCP or any specific qualification. All you need is your supervisor signature on the College form and to revise and be ready!

  5. If you are and only if you are a UK trainee in your way for CCT, you would be generally expected to be MRCP holder and have your educational supervisor signature.
    You are expected to set this exam usually if you are ST4/ST5. This only apply to UK haematology trainees aiming for CCT.

     

  6. FRCPath-1 Haem is held twice every year, one in March and one in September, so that our course is held twice every year. RCPath opens for exam applications usually 2-3 months before the exam. This is where you will find details about how and when to apply.
     

  7. FRCPath-1 Haematology gives you a Diplomate certificate so you legally can use DipRCPath after your name after part 1 success.
